We released today a new version of our web app that includes significantly improved reports.
The new reports have totals for all the numeric fields, both per page as well as for the full report.
The new report generation mechanism allows you to make multiple combinations of fields and field value and also combine your filtering with a text search.
For instance, you can create a report that picks all the reservations with check-out dates within June 2015, excluding the tentative and cancelled ones, only for a particular channel (say, booking.com) and for clients with email (= searching the @ symbol will do the trick).
If you have reports that you want to look at regularly, you can create them once and bookmark them in your browser. This will allow you to revoke the report by simply clicking the bookmark. And you can have as many different bookmarked reports are you want.
Utilising the report generation mechanism, you can create reports for tracking
- Commissions owed to a particular channel for a particular period (month, quarter, year).
- Revenue per period (month, quarter, year).
- Deposits per period (month, quarter, year).
- Revenue per room type or room.
and many more.
Last, but not least, you can export any report in Excel format. The exported reports have also additional detailed information (like adults and children per reservation).
There is a limit though on how many lines one exported report can contain: 500. Above 500 hundred lines there are performance issues but if you need to export a larger volume of information you can do it by splitting the report in two or more.
As a reminder, reports are included only in any paid subscription and not in the free plan.
