Today we released our second major product, a booking engine named Web Bookings.
We have been building Web Bookings for months with lots of feedback from our user community. Like our free app, Discoveroom Reservations, we designed Web Bookings to be simple and elegant. It is easy to use both for the lodging owners and their website visitors. 
Many small lodgings do not have a functional website or a website at all. That is why our booking engine includes a full presentation of the lodge and its rooms, branded accordingly. You can upload photos, enter descriptions and lists of amenities, both for the lodging in general as well as for each room type.
You can tailor the engine to your specifications:
- Check-in, check-out times.
- User defined booking policy (without/with downpayment, or with full payment).
- Cancellation policy (amount to be withheld depends on the number of days before expected check-in).
- Pets and Children bed rules.
We currently support four interface languages (English, German, Italian and Greek). In the near future, we plan to add more with Spanish and French with more coming later.
The booking engine accepts payments by Paypal and all the major Credit Cards (through Paypal). We plan to add other payment methods soon, as well as more configuration options.
The admin app.
All the settings and configuration for Web Bookings is performed through our new “Discoveroom Reservations” Web Application (nicknamed admin app) that we also release today.
Using the admin app you can fine-tune room pricing, as it supports per week, per month and per channel category pricing.
The admin app is the foundation of all οur future products for lodging owners and will work in parallel with the mobile apps. All things that are difficult to set up or work with from a mobile app will be accessible only through the admin app. Think of it as your regular office, while the mobile apps are your office on the move.
Web Bookings becomes available to lodging owners through a subscription plan called “Plus“. This activates the relevant features in the admin app, as well as, reservation reports and client lists and records.
