Querying and saving reservations with no network

We have published a new version of Discoveroom Reservations for Android (v 1.1.1).
This new version, apart from being significantly faster and slicker, it brings a new and very important feature: one can create and retrieve reservations while being completely offline (no wifi or carrier network).
The offline mode is lightning fast and allows quick views of the already entered reservations. The offline database is not a complete replica of the cloud database though. The offline data are accumulated gradually. Each time a set reservations appear in the user’s calendar for a selected time span, the relevant reservations are added to the offline database.

Switching back from offline to online is automatic and, whenever it occurs, the app syncs all the offline reservations with the server.

The reservations that have not been synced to the server have a different visual representation on the calendar (transparent) so that they are immediately recognizable by the user. See the image below.

The version is rolled out gradually to all Android users.

Enjoy working offline!

Will you be introducing the offline mode for Apple?

Yes! It is already developed and it will come out with the next iOS release, that is, counting Apple’s approval time frame, in about two weeks from now.

Norma, coming back to your question: the offline mode is already introduced in iOS. Have you seen it?
